The essentials first

This website uses no cookies and no advertising networks. For anonymous reach measurement we use a cookie-free service without cross-device recognition (see the “Reach measurement” section); no individual user profiles are created. Fonts and all content are delivered by our hosting provider — there are no connections to third-party font or script services (such as Google Fonts).

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type) in order to deliver the site and ensure the security of operations (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in secure operation).

A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel. Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and Vercel’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Reach measurement

To design our offering to meet demand, we measure the reach of this site using Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.). These services operate without cookies and without cross-device recognition. They collect aggregated, anonymous usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate region of origin, device type, load times) without creating individual user profiles; IP addresses are not stored permanently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in demand-oriented design and technical optimisation).

Savings calculator

The savings calculator transmits your inputs (heating system, living area, number of occupants, electricity price, etc.) to a server function on our hosting platform (Vercel Inc. — see the “Hosting” section; processing takes place in a data centre and, for technical reasons, involves your IP address in the server logs) in order to perform the calculation. The inputs are used solely for this one-off calculation and are not stored permanently or linked into user profiles (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in providing the calculation function). If you send your result as a consultation request, your e-mail program opens — this data is transmitted only if and when you send the e-mail yourself.

Contacting us

If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, content of your request) to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures). This data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Data you submit via the contact form on this website (name, e-mail address, optional phone number and your message) is processed for the same purpose. For the technical delivery of these messages we use the service provider Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor; delivery runs via servers in the European Union (Ireland region). A data processing agreement is in place, and data transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Form data is not stored permanently on the website but delivered to us solely by e-mail.

No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Your data is not used to automatically evaluate or predict personal aspects about you.

Your rights

You have the rights to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise them, contact datenschutz@cor.energy.

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
