The essentials first

This website uses no cookies and no advertising networks. For anonymous reach measurement we use a cookie-free service without cross-device recognition (see the “Reach measurement” section); no individual user profiles are created. Fonts and all content are delivered by our hosting provider — there are no connections to third-party font or script services (such as Google Fonts).

If you close the notice bar at the top of the page, your browser stores this setting locally on your device (local storage) so that the bar is not shown again. This information is not transmitted to us.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access the site, Vercel processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type) in order to deliver the site and ensure the security of operations (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in secure operation).

A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel. Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and Vercel’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Reach measurement

To design our offering to meet demand, we measure the reach of this site using Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.). These services operate without cookies and without cross-device recognition. They collect aggregated, anonymous usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate region of origin, device type, load times) without creating individual user profiles; IP addresses are not stored permanently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in demand-oriented design and technical optimisation).

Savings calculator

The savings calculator transmits your inputs (heating system, living area, number of occupants, energy prices, etc.) to a server function on our hosting platform (Vercel Inc. — see the “Hosting” section; processing takes place in a data centre and, for technical reasons, involves your IP address in the server logs) in order to perform the calculation. The inputs are used solely for this one-off calculation and are not stored permanently or linked into user profiles (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in providing the calculation function). If you send your result as a consultation request, you fill in a form — your contact details, the address of the property and the result are transmitted only if and when you submit the form.

AI advice in the savings calculator

Alongside the savings calculator we offer an AI-assisted advisory function. If you use it, your chat input is transmitted together with the figures of your calculation (property details and result) to a server function on our hosting platform and from there to our AI provider Anthropic PBC (USA) acting as a processor, in order to generate the answer (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in providing an understandable advisory function). A data processing agreement is in place; data transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not store the conversation permanently and do not link it into user profiles; it exists only in your browser and is lost as soon as you leave the page. Please do not enter special categories of personal data, or any details you would rather not transmit, into the chat. Use is voluntary — the calculator works fully without the advisory function.

Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, content of your request) to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures). This data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Data you submit via the forms on this website is processed for the same purpose. Name, email address, the subject of your enquiry and your message are required; phone number, details of the property (current heating, type of property, floor area, planned timing) and — if you would like a concrete quote or an on-site appointment — street, postcode, town and country are optional. You can use the form without these optional details. The partner form additionally covers the business details requested there. For a request from the savings calculator, phone number, planned timing and the address of the property (street, postcode, town) are also required, and in the calculator for large properties the company name: we need them to handle your request and to plan an on-site appointment. We do not pass these details on to third parties. The property data you entered and the result are sent along. For the technical delivery of these messages we use the service provider Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor; delivery runs via servers in the European Union (Ireland region). A data processing agreement is in place, and data transfer to the USA is safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Form data is not stored permanently on the website but delivered to us solely by email.

Newsletter

If you tick the newsletter opt-in on one of our forms, we process your email address (and your name, if provided) to send you our newsletter with news about products and offers. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Signing up is voluntary and independent of the handling of your enquiry; you can use the forms without subscribing to the newsletter.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect — via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or informally to datenschutz@cor.energy. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected. After withdrawal, we remove your data from the newsletter distribution list unless statutory retention obligations apply.

No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Your data is not used to automatically evaluate or predict personal aspects about you.

Your rights

You have the rights to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise them, contact datenschutz@cor.energy.

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
